Gerald August

Gerald August has been a communications consultant and coach for 22 years. People at all levels of the corporate world, from CEO to new hires, have benefited from his seminars and coaching. He has worked with many Fortune 500 companies. People in sales, marketing, finance, information technology, human resources, corporate compliance, operations, and senior management have all benefited from his expertise.

Gerald was a featured speaker at the annual "Business Week Symposium of Chief Executive Officers".  Other speakers included high-ranking officials of the federal government and CEOs of Fortune 500 companies.

A successful rock 'n roll promoter was a featured luncheon speaker for The National Speakers Association, a group of professional speakers and speech coaches. 2000 people were in the audience. The promoter hired Gerald to help him with his speech. Not only did the promoter receive a standing ovation, but received the highest evaluation of any speaker at the convention.

Gerald has been active in Toastmasters International, where he has won several speech contests. He has given educational talks at Toastmasters groups on the topic, "How to organize a seven minute talk in seven minutes...or less”. He was the mentor for the corporate Toastmasters group at McGraw-Hill.

Gerald has studied improvisational acting and comedy. He credits this experience with helping him improve his delivery and body language. This experience also helped him make his seminars a positive and fun experience.

Mr. August is an adjunct professor in a prestigious postgraduate fellowship program at Yeshiva University. He created the two semester curriculum and continues to teach the classes.
